However, the odor cannot be reliably detected and is therefore not a reliable warning signal. HCN is used industrially in <strong>plastics, chemical and metal processing<\/strong> and can also be released during <strong>combustion processes<\/strong>, <strong>decomposition of nitrogenous substances<\/strong> or <strong>biological decomposition processes<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The fact is:<\/strong> HCN is one of the most dangerous industrial chemicals in the world. Even the smallest quantities can be fatal. That is why the use <strong>of reliable HCN gas detectors<\/strong> is essential for occupational safety and explosion protection.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-bl-block-spacer\"><div class=\"is-style-small\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deadly-poisonous-danger-even-at-low-concentrations\">Deadly poisonous &#8211; danger even at low concentrations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-bl-block-spacer\"><div class=\"is-style-small\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HCN blocks cellular respiration<\/strong> &#8211; the body can no longer utilize oxygen. Even minimal exposure can lead to serious damage to health or even death within a very short time.
