The ExDetector HC 150<\/strong> sensor is used to measure the current concentration of explosive gases and vapors.<\/p>\n

The ExDetector HC 150<\/strong> can be used to detect explosive gases and vapors in the measuring range from 0 to 100 % LEL. The measuring principle is based on catalytic combustion (heat tinting). This measuring principle can be used to monitor a large number of gases, e.g. hydrogen and hydrocarbons.<\/p>\n

It meets all the criteria for use in Ex zone 2<\/strong> and in areas of functional safety in accordance with SIL-1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Variant for duct installation and high ambient temperatures:<\/h4>\n

ExDetector HC 150 K<\/span><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

The ExDetector HC 150-K <\/strong>sensor was specially developed for duct installation and has a transmitter that is separate from the measuring head. It can be mounted on duct shafts using a mounting flange in order to detect hazardous gas concentrations inside.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This special combination is also used to measure the current concentration of explosive gases and vapors in a pipe network.<\/p>\n

A particularly unique feature of this combination: the remote sensor in the measuring head of the HC 150 K<\/strong> sensor module, our “duct sensor”, can be used in an environment up to max. 80 degrees Celsius inside the duct, while the more temperature-sensitive components (up to 55 degrees Celsius) perform their duties outside these critical temperatures. A unique solution for problematic temperatures and atmospheres.<\/p>\n

Functionality of the ExDetector HC 150 within a gas warning system:<\/h4>\n

The ExDetector HC150 series sensors in combination with evaluation systems have the following functions:<\/p>\n
