The measuring principle is based on catalytic combustion (heat tinting\/pellistor). This measuring principle can be used to monitor a large number of gases, e.g. hydrogen and hydrocarbons.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>ExDetector HC 100<\/strong> is a versatile sensor and is designed in particular for use in Ex zone 1 and in overall safety systems that are classified according to SIL-1.<\/p>\n<p>A type examination certificate for the measuring function in accordance with Directive 2014\/34\/EU is available. A <strong>measuring function certificate BAM 03 ATEX 0003 X<\/strong> is also available. The standard device goes by the name of ExDetector HC 100 M.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-bl-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-bl-block-spacer\">\n<div class=\"is-style-medium\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ExDetector HC 100 T+K &#8211; especially for duct installation. Suitable for high temperatures.<\/h4>\n<p>The sensor combination <strong>ExDetector HC 100-T<\/strong> (sensor electronics) and <strong>HC 100-K<\/strong> (sensor module) has been specially developed for machine and duct installation. The <strong>ExDetector HC 100 K<\/strong> has a gas measuring head that is separate from the sensor module and can be mounted on duct shafts using a mounting flange in order to detect hazardous gas concentrations inside.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This special combination is also used to measure the current concentration of explosive gases and vapors in a pipe network.<\/p>\n<p>A particularly unique feature of this combination: the remote sensor in the measuring head of the <strong>HC 100 K<\/strong> sensor module, our &#8220;duct sensor&#8221;, can be used in an environment up to max. 80 degrees Celsius inside the duct, while the more temperature-sensitive components (up to 55 degrees Celsius) perform their duties outside these critical temperatures.
