Description
The GMC 8022 evaluation unit is a gas measuring computer for installation in the standard field distributor.
The GMC 8022 has the following functions in conjunction with sensors with 4-20 mA signal output:
● Measurement and display of the gas concentration.
● Monitoring and warning of these gases.
● Triggering of protective measures to counteract an increase in concentration.
● For example, horns, warning lights or solenoid valves can be activated to initiate appropriate measures in the event of a gas leak.
● The GMC 8022 can be used as an evaluation device for suitable gas sensors mounted in the Ex zone 1 area. However, the GMC 8022 itself must be mounted outside the hazardous area.
The GMC 8022 has a measurement function certificate BVS 03 ATEX G007 X.
