Service technician (f/m/d)
– The company –
Bieler+Lang is engaged in the development, production, consulting, project planning, sales, installation and service of stationary gas detection and warning systems.
– Your tasks –
- Installation and commissioning of gas warning systems according to project specifications
- Installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of gas detection systems
- Troubleshooting
- Control of records, logging of activities performed
- Making and updating the documentation
– Your profile –
- Completed vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician, energy electronics technician, mechatronics technician or comparable training
- Willingness to travel within southern Germany
- Good general electrical engineering, network, PLC and PC knowledge
- You have a strong service and customer orientation as well as team spirit
- You work independently and structured
- Car driving license is available
Hardware Developer: Electrical Engineer (FH/University) (m/f/d)
To support the development of our stationary gas detectors, we are expanding our experienced and agile team, which, together with you, will design the next generation of gas detectors and evaluation devices.
As part of the international development network of the Safe Monitoring Group, you will play a key role in the complete implementation of projects and product ideas—from a blank sheet of paper to series production and beyond.

– Your Responsibilities –
- Development of analog and digital circuits for our innovative gas detectors based on ARM microcontrollers
- Manufacturing and commissioning of prototypes
- Execution of development-related tests and type approvals
- Selection of suitable electronic components
- Creation of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts in KiCAD
- Design of mechanical components using Autodesk Inventor
- Development-related technical documentation
- Willingness to learn new skills depending on development tasks and scope
- Involvement in many other related topics and areas
– Your Profile –
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of A/D converters, microcontrollers, and experience with relevant standards and EMC design
- ATEX knowledge, understanding of ignition protection types, and functional safety (SIL) are a plus
- Experience with the C programming language
- Fluent German and English skills (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently and precisely
- Ability to communicate results clearly to the team, supervisors, and other stakeholders
- You embrace complex development challenges in a strictly regulated industry as a foundation for your creativity and problem-solving mindset
