Biogas

The explosion protection rules (EX-RL, DGUV Rule 113-001) of the BG RCI contain important safety rules. There is also Technical Information 4 “Safety rules for biogas plants” (TI 4) from the German Federal Association of Agricultural Employers’ Liability Insurance Associations, which contains instructions for the construction and operation of agricultural biogas plants.
If gas warning devices are used in biogas plants for room monitoring, they should at least correspond to Ex zone 2 in accordance with TI 4.

In order to optimally control the production process in a biogas plant, continuous monitoring of the biogas produced is required.
With the GMC Biogas 08 biogas analysis system , the levels of residual oxygen, methane, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide are determined in individually defined measuring cycles.
