Bieler+Lang Ecoline System
Compact gas warning device for private and public buildings

Gas warning systems in building services
Safety and efficiency with certified Ecoline system solutions
Modern building technology and building automation require a holistic safety concept – especially when integrating gas-powered systems such as heating systems, combined heat and power plants (CHP), gas boilers or ventilation systems. In this context, gas warning systems make a decisive contribution to the preventive protection of people, technology and infrastructure.
The Bieler+Lang Ecoline system solutions combine energy-efficient control with reliable gas monitoring – and thus enable safe, legally compliant building operation. There is a risk of flammable or toxic gases escaping, particularly in plant rooms and boiler rooms. Leaking pipes, defective valves or malfunctions in systems can quickly lead to dangerous situations.
This is where stationary gas warning systems come into play: they continuously monitor the room air, detect even the lowest concentrations and trigger automatic alarms and targeted countermeasures if limit values are exceeded – from switching off the gas system to activating the ventilation.
Advantages of Ecoline for homeowners, specialist planners, operators and building service providers:
- Early detection of gas leaks
- Protection of persons and property
- Reduction of liability and default risks
- Optimum integration into Ecoline energy systems
- Support in complying with legal standards and insurance requirements
Conclusion:
Gas detection systems in building services – especially in combination with the energy-efficient Ecoline systems – are an indispensable part of modern building safety. They reliably protect people and technology, increase operational safety and can be intelligently integrated into smart building concepts.
For specialist personnel and contractors, they offer a future-proof solution for protecting gas-powered systems in building technology.
The Ecoline system briefly explained:
The GMC Ecoline system is a very compact gas detection system that offers safety for private and public buildings.
It can be used in large buildings such as schools, youth and retirement homes and kindergartens. It can of course also be used in private homes and smaller commercial buildings.
The GMC Ecoline system is designed for the reliable detection of natural gas or liquid gas (LPG/butane). Up to 4 danger zones can be monitored.
The Ecoline system consists of the GMC Ecoline 8304 evaluation unit and up to four GM Ecoline HC50 sensors, depending on the size of the system. In the event of an alarm, the evaluation unit switches the technical safety measures via relay outputs and closes a connected solenoid valve in the gas supply line. An integrated buzzer provides an acoustic alarm.
