The “Ecoline” system from Bieler + Lang was developed for private and public buildings in accordance with DVGW requirements.
It reacts to even low concentrations of flammable gases, e.g. natural gas or liquid gas. In the event of an alarm, the built-in buzzer sounds and the connected safety valves or other safety measures are activated.
This creates active protection that protects people in public buildings, but also lets you and your family sleep safely in your own home.
The GM Ecoline HC 50 is the measuring sensor for methane, propane & butane in the private and public sector, as well as small businesses.

The following gases can be monitored with the GM Ecoline HC 50:
The GMC Ecoline system is a compact gas detection system for private and public buildings.
It can be used in schools, youth and retirement homes and kindergartens, for example, but can also be used in private homes or smaller commercial buildings.
The GMC Ecoline system is designed for the reliable detection of natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG/butane). Up to 4 danger zones can be monitored – so up to 4 GM Ecoline HC 50 gas sensors can be operated with the compact GMC Ecoline 8304 evaluation unit.
In the event of an alarm, the central evaluation unit switches the technical safety measures via relay outputs and closes a connected solenoid valve in the gas supply line. An integrated buzzer sounds an acoustic alarm.
This gas warning device complies with the European standard for protection against escaping gases in public buildings, such as schools, youth and retirement homes, kindergartens, as well as private homes and smaller commercial buildings. The device is designed for the reliable detection of natural gas or liquid gas (LPG/butane). Up to four danger zones can be monitored. In the event of an alarm, the evaluation center switches the technical safety measures via relay outputs and closes a connected solenoid valve in the gas supply line. An integrated buzzer provides an acoustic alarm.
The design of this new gas warning system is based on worksheet G110 of the DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). Its central statement regarding the use of a gas warning system is that it must be tested by a notified body in accordance with DIN EN 50194.
