Description
Two gas sensors with a 4-20 mA signal output from Bieler+Lang or other manufacturers can be connected to the GMC 8032. Devices such as fans, solenoid valves, horns, (warning signs), illuminated signs and (warning lamps) signal lights can be reliably controlled via the GMC 8032.
GMC 8032 – the modern heart of your small gas warning system
The GasMessComputer 8032 is the clever heart of your gas warning system. Together with one or two gas sensors, the GMC 8032 monitors and warns of hazardous gas leaks by activating various warning signals.
The GMC 8032 also displays measured values and gas concentrations and triggers the desired protective measures to counteract a further increase in the gas concentration.
Good design + everything in its place
The GMC 8032 is designed for mounting in the switch cabinet on standard (DIN top-hat dividers) mounting rails.
The GMC 8032 has 2 measuring channels. Up to 2 external gas sensors (measuring signal 4-20mA) can be connected to the GMC 8032.
It has 3 alarm levels and 6 potential-free relay contacts, which can be freely configured for a wide range of alarm types.
In addition, two relay contacts (NC contacts) are available in the event of faults (for device or sensor faults and for a service message).
Clever operation + intuitive display
The GMC 8032 has a color display for showing gas concentrations and easy detection of alarms and faults.
In addition, colored LEDs show you at a glance which gas sensor is responding with which alarm level (alarm levels 1-3) and which relays, i.e. which measures, have been activated.
Both the LEDs and the display light up according to the traffic light principle from green (start phase), white (everything is OK) via orange (alarm level 1) to red (alarm/warning of alarm levels 2+3).
Simple input. Simple programming. Many functions.
GMC 8032 has menu navigation in German and English.
A rotary encoder with push-button allows you to quickly select menus and confirm entries (pressing the push-button) and intuitively adjust input values (turning the push-button to the left or right).
The GMC 8032 always saves the last 100 events in its event memory (event logger) and can show them on the display.
On the GMC 8032, you can also check the alarm output of sensors without test gas via the menu.
The advantages of the GMC 8032 gas measuring computer at a glance:
- 2 gas sensors with 4-20 mA current signal can be connected
- Up to 6 alarms and functions on freely configurable relays
- Three alarm levels each
- Simple operation via push-turn knob
- Multicolored display according to traffic light principle
- Everything at a glance thanks to LEDs (green/orange/red)
- Fault monitoring (in the event of power failure, computer defect, wire breakage and short circuit)
- Event logger for 100 events
- Interface: UART (Modbus will be possible in future via additional module)
GMC 8034 – the big brother of the GMC 8032.
Do you need more gas sensors and more alarm functions for a slightly larger gas warning device? No problem:
The GMC 8034 does everything its little brother can do, but offers connection options for up to 4 sensors and 10 freely programmable relays.
Available accessories:
- Gas sensor
- Horns
- Warning lights
- Solenoid valves
