The gas detection specialist Bieler + Lang has put its new building at the Achern headquarters into operation. For a few weeks now, the entire workforce has had space on Von-Drais-Strasse in the west of the city. “We are very happy to have everyone under one roof again,” says Managing Director Susanne Dussa.

50 years of Bieler+Lang: Prospect of “blooming landscapes”

Last Thursday, Bieler+Lang GmbH celebrated its 50th anniversary in a festive setting – in an exclusive circle of 80 guests from politics and business. The traditional family business, which is already being managed by the third generation, is once again bringing all its competencies under one roof in its anniversary year: The completion of the new production hall in the industrial area of Achern is planned for the end of 2017.

Groundbreaking ceremony: Bieler+Lang invests in the future

After the European Union had given the green light for the grant within the framework of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the groundbreaking ceremony for the new extension in the Achern industrial area has now taken place. The total eligible investment amounts to 2,106,000 euros, with the development bank covering a 10 percent share of the costs. In the anniversary year – Bieler+Lang GmbH celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2017 – all core competencies are now to be brought back under one roof.
