ExDetector SC 220

Detector

ExDetector SC 220

With the ExDetector SC 220, combustible gases and vapors can be detected in the measuring range from 0 to 50 % LEL. A semiconductor gas sensor is used for the measurement, which is very robust. It is often a useful alternative to sensors that cannot be used due to the presence of catalyst poisons in the atmosphere.

The ExDetector SC 220 is stand-alone capable, i.e. it can independently initiate protective measures without the additional use of an evaluation device. Integrated low-voltage switching outputs for pre-alarm and main alarm as well as sensor fault are available. It can also be connected conventionally to an evaluation center.

It can be used in Ex zone 2.
