Description
The GMC 8022 evaluation unit is a gas measuring computer for installation in standard field distributors.
The GMC 8022 has the following functions in conjunction with sensors with a 4-20 mA signal output:
● Measurement and display of the gas concentration.
● Monitoring and warning of these gases.
● Triggering of protective measures to counteract an increase in concentration.
● Horns, warning lights or solenoid valves can be activated, for example, to initiate appropriate measures in the event of a gas leak.
The GMC 8022 has a measurement function certificate BVS 03 ATEX G007 X.
It is suitable for use in areas of functional safety in accordance with SIL1 + SIL2.
Checking the alarm output is also possible with the GMC 8022 without test gas.
